If you, your child or a loved one are suffering with anxiety, OCD, depression or related conditions, there is hope and there is help. Since its founding in 1978, the Anxiety and Agoraphobia Treatment Center (AATC) has offered cutting-edge, evidence-based and specialized treatment to children, adolescents and adults.
Our team of clinicians has expertise in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure/Response Prevention (E/RP), the first-line, recommended treatments for anxiety, OCD, depression and related disorders.
In addition to CBT and E/RP, our therapists are trained in:
We recognize how important it is for a client and therapist to work together to design a treatment plan. Our philosophy is to work collaboratively with clients in a compassionate and nonjudgmental manner. Treatment is customized to the individual and may also address other life issues. When indicated, treatment may include spouses, family members, and other loved ones in addition to individual sessions. We also work in close collaboration with medical professionals/psychiatrists when medication is a component of treatment.
Standard outpatient treatment is typically provided on a one-session per week basis in our office or in the community. Depending upon the needs of the individual, sessions may be scheduled more or less frequently. Intensive treatment is available and, when necessary and feasible, home visits may also be arranged.
Fees are payable at the time of service. With the exception of Medicare, we are out-of-network providers for all insurance, but will be happy to submit your claims for reimbursement. It is important for you to verify your benefits before entering treatment. Please contact your insurance company to inquire about your out-of-network benefits.
